Definition of child, state courts administrator to conduct a study andissue a report, when.

211.013. The office of state courts administrator shall conduct astudy and report to the general assembly by June 30, 2009, on the impact ofchanging the definition of child, as used in section 211.031, to includeany person over seventeen years of age but not yet eighteen years of agealleged to have committed a status offense as defined in subdivision (2) ofsubsection 1 of section 211.031. The report shall contain informationregarding the impact on caseloads of juvenile officers, including theaverage increase in caseload per juvenile officer for each judicialcircuit, and the number of children affected by the change in definition.
