Workers' compensation to cover all employees of the department.

217.110. 1. The provisions of chapter 287, RSMo, governingworkers' compensation are extended to include all personnel ofthe department. The state of Missouri shall be a self-insurerand assume all liability imposed by chapter 287, RSMo, in respectto such personnel and the attorney general shall appear on behalfof and defend the state in all actions brought by such personnelunder chapter 287, RSMo.

2. The extension of chapter 287, RSMo, to include personnelof the department shall not be construed as acknowledging orcreating any liability in tort, or as incurring other obligationsor duties other than the duty and obligation of complying withthe provisions of chapter 287, RSMo.
