Officers and employees, restrictions on businessconnections--conversion of department property prohibited,exception--violations, grounds for dismissal.

217.115. 1. No employee of the department shall knowinglyhave any financial or business interest in the management,maintenance or provision of goods or services to the department,its divisions or agencies which provide goods or services to thedepartment.

2. No employee of the department shall knowingly have anyfinancial business with any offender committed to or supervisedby the department, or family members of any offender committed toor supervised by the department.

3. Except as provided by section 217.135, no employee of thedepartment shall take, remove, use, appropriate, or in any wayconvert to his own use or the use of any other individual orentity any property, provisions, natural resources, goods, or anyarticle of value belonging to or under the control of thedepartment or sell such items to another party.

4. Violation of subsection 1, 2, or 3 of this section shallbe grounds for dismissal or other appropriate disciplinaryaction.
