227.370. The portion of Interstate 44 in Phelps County from route Veast to route 68 shall be designated the "Governor Mel Carnahan MemorialHighway", in recognition of the former governor's contributions to thestate of Missouri. The department of transportation shall erect andmaintain appropriate signs commemorating this portion of highway. Costsfor such designation shall be paid for by the Democrat Freshman Caucus.
