Overseer--qualifications--compensation.

231.170. The person appointed to the office of road overseershall be a citizen of the township from which he is appointed,and shall be a practical road builder, or possessed of technicalor scientific knowledge of such work. His compensation shall befixed by the board of directors at the time of his appointment,and shall be not more than thirty cents per hour for each hour heis actually and necessarily employed as such overseer.
