County commission may appropriate money, when.

231.300. Whenever the citizens along the line of any publicroad in a district subscribe any sum not less than twenty-fivedollars for grading, graveling or otherwise improving any portionof such road, and shall deposit the same with the townshiptreasurer, the county commission may appropriate a like amountfor such purpose out of any funds of the county not otherwiseappropriated.
