Petition for organization, contents.

235.030. The organization of a district shall be initiatedby a petition filed in the office of the clerk of the countycommission in the county in which the real property in theproposed district is situated. The petition shall be signed byone hundred voters of the proposed district. The petition shallset forth the following:

(1) Proposed name of the street light maintenance district;

(2) An estimated number of the inhabitants;

(3) The assessed valuation of the taxable tangible propertylocated in the district;

(4) The estimated annual cost of the operation of thedistrict;

(5) A general description of the boundaries of the districtor the territory to be included therein with such certainty as toenable a property owner to determine whether or not his propertyis within the district;

(6) The names of three voters who shall constitute the firstboard of directors of the district, one to hold office until thefirst biennial election, one until two years and one until fouryears after such election;

(7) Such other data and information as may be useful to thecounty commission in determining the necessity for theorganization of the district.
