Contractual powers.

238.250. The district may contract with:

(1) A federal agency, a state or its agencies and politicalsubdivisions, the commission, a local transportation authority,a corporation, partnership or individual regarding funding,promotion, planning, designing, constructing, improving,maintaining, or operating a project or to assist in suchactivity; and

(2) The commission or a local transportation authority totransfer the project to the commission or the localtransportation authority free of cost or encumbrance on suchterms set forth by contract.
