242.110. Immediately after the election of the board ofsupervisors as provided for in section 242.100, and the electionof a president and secretary, and the secretary has filed thenecessary bond and it has been approved, he shall call upon thecounty clerk or other person who may be in charge of the recordsof the district for all records, contracts, files, books, plats,maps and every article of record belonging to said district, andthe county clerk or other person in charge of such records shallimmediately deliver to said secretary of the district all suchrecords and take the receipt of the secretary therefor. Saidsecretary shall also call upon the county treasurer or otherperson who has control of the funds of the district, for thetransfer of all funds of the district to him and said treasureror other person shall immediately transfer such funds, taking thereceipt of the secretary for such funds.
