Penalty for violation of provisions of chapter.

243.540. Any person, corporation, member of the countycommission or municipal corporation, convicted of a misdemeanoras defined by this chapter shall pay a fine of not less than fivedollars nor more than one thousand dollars, and if such violationof said chapter as the conviction is for shall not be abated bythe party so convicted within thirty days after such conviction,then the continuance of such obstruction or other violation ofthe provisions of this chapter after said period of thirty daysshall for each and every day the same is continued constitute aseparate offense, for which, on conviction thereof, the party sooffending shall be punished by a fine of twenty-five dollars.
