Board of directors of levees appointed by county commission.

245.335. At the term of the county commission at which saidlevee district may be laid off, or at any subsequent termthereof, the said commission shall appoint three directors oflevees, who shall be landholders within the county for the leveedistrict of which the county is the whole or part thereof, one ofwhich directors shall hold his said office for the term of oneyear, one for the term of two years, and one for the term ofthree years, and until their successors are duly appointed andqualified; and the said commission shall annually thereafterappoint one director to take the place of the director whoseofficial term expires, possessing the same qualifications as thedirector first appointed, who shall hold his office for the termof three years.
