Construction of improvement completed, final cost computed--governingbody to assess final cost or amount of general obligation bonds.

249.943. After construction of the improvement has been completed inaccordance with the plans and specifications therefor, the governing bodyof the city or county shall compute the final costs of the improvement andapportion the costs among the property benefited by such improvement insuch equitable manner as the governing body shall determine, charging eachparcel of property with its proportionate share of the costs, and byresolution, assess the final cost of the improvement or the amount ofgeneral obligation bonds issued or to be issued therefor as assessmentsagainst the property described in the assessment roll.
