250.030. Any such city, town or village desiring to operateand maintain a combined waterworks and sewerage system shalladopt an ordinance declaring that its waterworks whether thenexisting or to be acquired or constructed and its sewerage systemthen existing or to be acquired or constructed shall thenceforthbe operated and maintained as a combined waterworks and seweragesystem and may provide that such combined system shall includeall future improvements or extensions, whether to the waterworksor to the sewerage system or to both.
