Plan to be filed--hearing--notice.

251.330. 1. Before the adoption, amendment or extension ofthe comprehensive plan or portion thereof, the regional planningcommission shall file such plan or part with the state office andhold at least one public hearing thereon, fifteen days' notice ofthe time and place of which shall be published in at least onenewspaper having general circulation within each county coveredby the plan or portion thereof, and fifteen days' notice of suchhearing shall be given to the state office and each localgovernmental unit within the region and shall be posted at leastfifteen days in advance thereof in at least one conspicuous placein each township covered by the plan or portion thereof. Thehearing may be adjourned from time to time.

2. The regional planning commission may amend, extend or addto the comprehensive plan or carry any part or subject matterinto greater detail in the same manner as the making and adoptionof the original plan.
