251.350. A copy of the plan or part thereof shall becertified to the governing bodies of the local governmental unitswithin the region and to the director. The purpose and effect ofadoption of the comprehensive plan shall be solely to aid theregional planning commission and the local governments and localgovernment officials comprising the region in the performance oftheir functions and duties.
