Payment of fees--treasurer's report.

252.050. All moneys payable under the provisions of sections252.010 to 252.240 shall be promptly transmitted to the divisionof taxation and collection in the department of revenue, whichshall deposit the same in the state treasury to the credit of theconservation commission. The state treasurer shall report on thefirst day of each month to the commission the exact amount ofmoney in the commission's funds.

(1962) Fees for the sale of licenses issued by the state conservation commission by a county clerk held to be received in his individual capacity and therefore was not in violation of the constitutional provision which requires officers in counties of one hundred thousand to be compensated only by salaries. Walsh v. County of St. Louis (Mo.), 353 S.W.2d 779.
