Definitions.

253.010. As used in this chapter, the following words shallmean:

(1) "Department", the department of natural resources;

(2) "Land", upland, land under water, the water itself andevery estate, interest and right, legal or equitable in land orwater;

(3) "Park", any land, site or object primarily ofrecreational value or of cultural value because of its scenic,historic, prehistoric, archeologic, scientific, or otherdistinctive characteristics or natural features;

(4) "Parkway", an elongated area of parkland, usuallycontiguous to a pleasure driveway and often containingrecreational areas.
