Fire control and timber trespass activities intensified,when--provisions for added protection.

254.270. 1. Fire control and timber trespass activitieswill be intensified and may be extended to include all woodlandsin the state as deemed in need of such protection by thecommission within the limits of funds provided. Any personwhether or not his lands are classified as forest croplands mayreceive such assistance.

2. Any owner may make application to the commission forspecial attention in forest fire control requiring expendituresin excess of those permitted within the limits of funds providedfor general activities under this chapter, by subscribing apayment of not less than three cents per acre per year for suchadded protection as the commission may deem advisable anddesirable.
