Damages--hearings--procedure.

256.130. If the parties interested cannot agree upon theamount to be paid for damages caused thereby, either of them maypetition the circuit court in the county in which the land issituated, which court shall appoint a time for a hearing as soonas may be, and order at least fourteen days' notice to be givento all persons interested, and, with or without a view of thepremises, as the court may determine, hear the parties and theirwitnesses and assess damages.
