258.030. 1. The officers of the council shall be a chairmanand vice chairman appointed by the governor from the executiveheads of the agencies represented on the council. A chairman mayserve more than one term.
2. Duties of the chairman shall be to see that policies anddirectives of the council are carried out by the executivesecretary and to preside at meetings of the council. If thechairman cannot perform the duties, the vice chairman shallassume them.
(L. 1965 p. 391 § 3)*Section 640.010 provides that the department of natural resources shall provide all staff services required by the council, notwithstanding the provisions of this section.
