Duties and functions of council.

258.060. The state inter-agency council for outdoorrecreation shall be:

(1) The official state agency for liaison with the federalbureau of outdoor recreation;

(2) The official state agency to receive and disbursefederal funds available to this state for overall outdoorrecreation planning;

(3) The official state agency to receive and allocate to theappropriate agency, or political subdivision, federal fundsavailable for outdoor recreation programs; and

(4) Shall provide a forum for consideration of outdoorrecreation problems affecting member agencies and as an advisoryand planning agency for overall outdoor recreational programs.The council may provide information and advisory services for anypolitical subdivision requesting its services.
