260.605. The corporation shall have a board of directors inwhich all the powers of the corporation shall be vested andwhich shall consist of any number of directors, not less thanthree, all of whom shall be duly qualified electors of andtaxpayers in the county or municipality. The directors shallserve as such without compensation. The directors shall beelected by the governing body of the county or municipality, andeach director shall continue to hold office until his successoris elected.
