Operation without license or selling adulterated or misbrandedmeat, penalty.

265.460. Any person who shall operate a commercial plantwithout a license, or sell or offer for sale any adulterated ormisbranded meat or meat product is guilty of a misdemeanor. Uponconviction of a first violation he shall be punished by a fine ofnot less than one hundred dollars nor more than one thousanddollars or by confinement in the county jail for not more thanone year or by both such fine and confinement. Persons foundguilty of subsequent offenses shall, upon conviction, be punishedby a fine of not less than five hundred dollars nor more than onethousand dollars or by confinement in the county jail for notmore than one year or by both such fine and confinement.
