Penalties for violations--prosecutor to enforce.

266.390. Any person violating sections 266.361 to 266.400shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall befined not more than five hundred dollars or imprisoned for notmore than one year, or be subject to both such fine andimprisonment. It shall be the duty of any prosecuting attorneyto whom any violation of sections 266.361 to 266.400 is reported,to cause appropriate proceedings to be instituted and prosecutedin a court of competent jurisdiction without delay.
