273.340. A dealer shall only purchase animals from personsin this state who are licensed under sections 273.325 to 273.357,or who are exempt from licensure. Any dealer who knowinglypurchases animals in violation of this section shall be guilty ofa class A misdemeanor and each purchase made shall constitute aseparate offense. In addition to such penalties, the directormay revoke such dealer's license.
