Reciprocal licensing authorized, when--agent to bedesignated by nonresidents.

281.075. 1. The director may issue a license orcertification on a reciprocal basis with other states withoutexamination to a nonresident who is licensed or certified inanother state substantially in accordance with the provisions ofsections 281.010 to 281.115; except that, financialresponsibility must be filed pursuant to section 281.065. Feescollected shall be the same as for resident licenses orcertification.

2. Any nonresident applying for any license under section281.035, 281.037, 281.038 or 281.050 to operate in the state ofMissouri shall designate in writing the secretary of state as theagent of such nonresident upon whom process may be served asprovided by law; except that, any such nonresident who hasdesignated a resident agent upon whom process may be served asprovided by law shall not be required to designate the secretaryof state as such agent. The secretary of state shall be allowedsuch fees therefor as provided by law for designating residentagents. The director shall be furnished with a copy of suchdesignation of the secretary of state or of a resident agent,such copy to be certified by the secretary of state.
