Whenever by this chapter any officer is required togive any notice to any insurance carrier, the same may be givenby mailing the same, postage prepaid, addressed to the principaloffice of the insurance carrier or its agent in this state, or toits home or to the secretary, general agent or chief officerthereof in the United States.
