Actions for prevailing wages by workman authorized.

290.300. Any workman employed by the contractor or by anysubcontractor under the contractor who shall be paid for hisservices in a sum less than the stipulated rates for work doneunder the contract, shall have a right of action for doublewhatever difference there may be between the amount so paid andthe rates provided by the contract together with a reasonableattorney's fee to be determined by the court, and an actionbrought to recover same shall be deemed to be a suit for wages,and any and all judgments entered therein shall have the sameforce and effect as other judgments for wages.
