Hearing and recommendations of board.

290.370. The board shall conduct hearings, with dispatch,for the purpose of hearing evidence relevant to the subject ofthe dispute, and shall, as soon as practicable, report itsfindings and recommendations in writing to the chief executiveofficer of the county, city, town, fire district, or othergovernmental unit involved, and to any organization of firemeninvolved. The report shall be concurred in by at least threemembers of the board. The recommendation shall be advisory onlyand shall not be binding upon the county, city, town, firedistrict, or other governmental unit, or upon the members of thefire department involved.
