Electrical wiring and equipment requirements.

293.150. 1. Surface overhead high-potential power lines shall be placedat least fifteen feet above the ground and twenty feet above driveways andhaulageways. The power lines shall be installed on insulators, and shall besupported and guarded to prevent contact with other circuits.

2. Surface overhead power circuits shall be protected against lightningand voltage surges, and high-potential power lines shall be protectedadequately by circuit breakers, fuses, or both.

3. Electric wiring, electrical stationary machinery, and electriclights, in mines and surface buildings, shall be installed and maintained soas to present minimum fire and contact hazards.

4. Systematic, periodic examinations and reports of the conditions ofall wiring and electrical equipment and apparatus shall be required by thedivision of mine inspection, to be made by the operator, in all mines.
