300.175. No person shall place, maintain or display upon orin view of any highway an unauthorized sign, signal, marking ordevice which purports to be or is an imitation of or resembles anofficial traffic control device or railroad sign or signal, orwhich attempts to direct the movement of traffic, or which hidesfrom view or interferes with the effectiveness of any officialtraffic control device or any railroad sign or signal.
