Traffic lanes.

300.200. 1. The city traffic engineer is hereby authorizedto mark traffic lanes upon the roadway of any street or highwaywhere a regular alignment of traffic is necessary.

2. Where such traffic lanes have been marked, it shall beunlawful for the operator of any vehicle to fail or refuse tokeep such vehicle within the boundaries of any such lane exceptwhen lawfully passing another vehicle or preparatory to making* alawful turning movement.
