300.600. This ordinance or any designated part thereof shallbecome effective in any city of the state upon the adoptionthereof by the legislative body of the city by an ordinanceappropriately describing this ordinance or the part thereofadopted. Upon such adoption by the city all ordinances or partsof ordinances in conflict with or inconsistent with theprovisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed, except thatthis repeal shall not affect or prevent the prosecution orpunishment of any person for any act done or committed inviolation of any ordinance hereby repealed prior to the takingeffect of this ordinance.
