Records required to be kept by service agents, time period--recordsopen for inspection.

301.116. 1. Every licensee shall maintain for three yearsa record of:

(1) Date of application of certificate of title ofvehicles;

(2) Name and address of the owner;

(3) Name of the manufacturer;

(4) Vehicle identification number and year of manufacture;

(5) Style of vehicle;

(6) Odometer setting.

2. Any record kept pursuant to subsection 1 of this sectionshall be open to inspection by any authorized representative ofthe department, member of the Missouri highway patrol or anyauthorized peace officer during reasonable business hours.
