Crosswalks and parking regulations established--signs--violation, aninfraction.

304.024. 1. The state highways and transportation commission withrespect to highways under its jurisdiction may erect or place signsestablishing crossovers or crosswalks or prohibiting or restricting thestopping, standing or parking of vehicles on any highway where in itsopinion such stopping, standing, or parking is dangerous to those using thehighway or where the stopping, standing or parking of vehicles would undulyinterfere with the free movement of traffic thereon. Such signs shall beofficial signs and no person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle inviolation of the restrictions stated on such signs.

2. Violation of this section shall be deemed an infraction.
