St. Louis sports stadiums, Sunday sales, malt liquor, certain beers,special license, required.

311.273. 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section311.270, or any other provision of law to the contrary, anyperson, firm, or corporation holding a license to sell maltliquor only may apply for a special license to sell malt liquoror beer containing not in excess of five percent alcohol byweight on Sunday in sports stadiums primarily used forprofessional sporting events, in cities not within a county.

2. The license shall be issued by the supervisor of liquorcontrol upon the payment of an additional license fee of threehundred dollars per year.

3. The special license shall allow such person, firm, orcorporation to sell malt liquor or beer containing not in excessof five percent alcohol by weight, for on-premises consumptiononly, for a period starting at 11:00 a.m. on Sundays, and endingat 1:30 a.m. on the following Monday.

4. Nothing in this section shall be construed to permit thespecial licensee to sell such malt liquor or beer foroff-premises consumption.
