Sunday sales, package liquor licensee allowed, hours, fee--city orcounty may also charge fee, limitations.

311.293. 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any law to thecontrary, any person possessing the qualifications and meeting therequirements of this chapter, who is licensed to sell intoxicating liquorin the original package at retail pursuant to section 311.200, may apply tothe supervisor of alcohol and tobacco control for a special license to sellintoxicating liquor in the original package at retail between the hours of9:00 a.m. and midnight on Sundays. A licensee under this section shall payto the director of revenue an additional fee of two hundred dollars a yearpayable at the same time and in the same manner as its other license fees.

2. In addition to any fee collected pursuant to section 311.220, acity or county may charge and collect an additional fee not to exceed threehundred dollars from any licensee under this section for the privilege ofselling intoxicating liquor in the original package at retail between thehours of 9:00 a.m. and midnight on Sundays in such city or county; howeverthe additional fee shall not exceed the fee charged by that city or countyfor a special license issued pursuant to any provision of this chapterwhich allows a licensee to sell intoxicating liquor by the drink forconsumption on the premises of the licensee on Sundays.
