313.240. The director shall, subject to the approval of thecommission, perform all duties, exercise all powers, and assumeand discharge all responsibilities to carry out the purpose ofsections 313.200 to 313.350. The director shall act assecretary of the commission and keep all books, records, filesand documents of the commission. The director shall superviseand administer the operation of the lottery in accordance withthe provisions of sections 313.200 to 313.350 and the rules andregulations promulgated by the commission.
