324.024. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, everyapplication for a license, certificate, registration, or permit, or renewalof a license, certificate, registration, or permit issued in this stateshall contain the Social Security number of the applicant. This provisionshall not apply to an original application for a license, certificate,registration, or permit submitted by a citizen of a foreign country who hasnever been issued a Social Security number and who previously has not beenlicensed by any other state, United States territory, or federal agency. Acitizen of a foreign country applying for licensure with the division ofprofessional registration shall be required to submit his or her visa orpassport identification number in lieu of the Social Security number.
