Competency examination, notification of results.

324.139. 1. To qualify for a license, an applicant shall pass acompetency examination given by the American Board of CardiovascularPerfusion or its successor organization.

2. Not later than forty-five days after the date on which a licensingexamination is administered pursuant to sections 324.125 to 324.183, theboard shall notify each examinee of the results of the examination.

3. The board by rule shall establish:

(1) A limit on the number of times an applicant who fails anexamination may retake the examination; and

(2) The requirements for reexamination and the amount of anyreexamination fee.
