324.247. A person desiring to receive a license to operate a massagebusiness in the state of Missouri shall file a written application with theboard on a form prescribed by the board and pay the appropriate requiredfee. It shall be unlawful for a business to employ or contract with anyperson in this state to provide massage therapy as defined in subdivision(7) of section 324.240 unless such person has obtained a license asprovided by this chapter. Failure to comply with the provisions of thissection shall be cause to discipline the licensee.
