Examinations, land surveyor-in-training and landsurveyors--notice--content--grade required to pass--effect.

327.331. 1. After the board has determined upon such inquiry and bysuch methods as it may consider proper that an applicant possesses thequalifications entitling such applicant to be examined, each applicant forexamination and enrollment as a land surveyor-in-training and forexamination and license as a professional land surveyor in Missouri shallappear before the board or its representatives for examination at the timeand place specified by the board in a written notice to each suchapplicant, provided that an examination shall be given at least once ineach calendar year.

2. The written examination or examinations shall be of such form,content and duration as shall be determined by the board to thoroughly testthe qualifications of each applicant to become enrolled as a landsurveyor-in-training or to be become licensed as a professional landsurveyor in Missouri.

3. Any applicant to be eligible for enrollment or for license mustmake a grade on the applicable examination of at least seventy percent.

4. Any person who passes the examination hereinabove specified shallbe entitled to be enrolled as a land surveyor-in-training or licensed as aprofessional land surveyor, as the case may be, in Missouri and shallreceive a certificate of enrollment or a license, as the case may be.
