Recording of certain documents not properly executed by land surveyor,prohibited--penalty.

327.361. 1. It shall be unlawful for the recorder of deeds of anycounty, or the clerk of any city or town, or the clerk or other properofficer of any school, road, drainage, or levee district or other politicalsubdivision of this state, to file or record any map, plat or survey whichhas been prepared by a person other than a professional land surveyor andwhich does not have impressed thereon, and affixed thereto, the personalseal and signature of the professional land surveyor by whom or under whoseauthority and supervision the map, plat or survey was prepared.

2. Any person who violates the provisions of this section is guiltyof a class C misdemeanor.
