License renewal fee, when paid.

330.080. Each applicant for biennial license renewal under thischapter shall accompany the application for biennial license renewal with abiennial renewal fee to be paid to the director of revenue for thelicensing period for which licensure is sought. If said application befiled and said fee paid after the biennial renewal date, there shall be alate fee in addition to the biennial license renewal fee; provided,however, that whenever in the opinion of the board the applicant's failureto renew the license was caused by extenuating circumstances includingillness of the applicant, as defined by rule, the late fee may be waived bysuch board, and provided further, that whenever any license is granted toany person to practice podiatric medicine under the provisions of thischapter, the board shall upon application therefor cause to be issued tosuch licensee a biennial license renewal covering the period from the dateof the issuance of such license to the next biennial license renewal datewithout the payment of the late fee.
