Pharmacist may fill prescription forwarded by authorized agent.

338.198. Other provisions of law to the contrarynotwithstanding, a pharmacist may fill a physician's prescriptionor the prescription of an advanced practice nurse working under acollaborative practice arrangement with a physician, when it isforwarded to the pharmacist by a registered professional nurse orregistered physician's assistant or other authorized agent. Thewritten collaborative practice arrangement shall specificallystate that the registered professional nurse or registeredphysician assistant is permitted to authorize a pharmacist tofill a prescription on behalf of the physician.
