338.530. The director of the department of social services may offsetthe tax owed by a pharmacy against any Missouri Medicaid payment due suchpharmacy, if the pharmacy requests such an offset. The amounts to beoffset shall result, so far as practicable, in withholding from thepharmacy an amount substantially equal to the assessment due from thepharmacy. The office of administration and the state treasurer may makeany fund transfers necessary to execute the offset.
