Veterinary emergency care, no civil liability, exceptions (GoodSamaritan law).

340.287. Any veterinarian duly registered pursuant to sections340.200 to 340.330 who gratuitously and in good faith gives emergencytreatment to a sick or injured animal at the scene of an accident oremergency shall not be liable in any civil action for damages to the ownerof such animal. This section is not intended to provide immunity for actswhich constitute gross negligence.
