340.335. 1. Sections 340.335 to 340.350 establish a loan repaymentprogram for graduates of approved veterinary medical schools who practicein areas of defined need and shall be known as the "Large Animal VeterinaryMedicine Loan Repayment Program".
2. The "Large Animal Veterinary Medicine Loan Repayment Program Fund"is hereby created in the state treasury. All funds recovered from anindividual pursuant to section 340.347 and all funds generated by loanrepayments and penalties received pursuant to section 340.347 shall becredited to the fund. The moneys in the fund shall be used by thedepartment of agriculture to provide loan repayments pursuant to section340.343 in accordance with sections 340.335 to 340.350.
