Penalties.

343.250. Every person who shall violate any of theprovisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor, and, uponconviction, shall be punished by a fine of not less than twentynor more than five hundred dollars, and shall be disqualifiedfrom exercising the rights or pursuing the business of anauctioneer for a period of one year from the date of hisconviction. After January 1, 1979, every person who shallviolate any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of aclass C misdemeanor and shall be disqualified from exercising therights or pursuing the business of an auctioneer for a period ofone year from the date of his conviction.
