Fees, amount, how set.

345.055. 1. The board shall charge a license or registration renewalfee for each license or registration renewed. Persons possessing therequired training and qualifications to be licensed or registered as both aspeech-language pathologist and audiologist shall receive both licenses,which for the purposes of this section shall be considered as a singlelicense or certificate. Duplicate licenses or certificates shall be issuedwithout additional charge to persons practicing in more than one location.Persons who allow their licenses to lapse shall submit a reinstatement fee,and if the license has lapsed for more than a three-year period, the boardmay require reexamination.

2. The fees prescribed by section 345.051 and this section shall beexclusive, and notwithstanding any other provision of law, no municipalitymay require any person licensed pursuant to the provisions of sections345.010 to 345.080 to furnish any bond, pass any examination, or pay anylicense fee or occupational tax.

3. The board shall set the amount of the fees which sections 345.010to 345.080 authorize and require by rules and regulations promulgatedpursuant to section 536.021, RSMo. The fees shall be set at a level toproduce:

(1) Revenue which shall not substantially exceed the cost and expenseof administering sections 345.010 to 345.080; and

(2) Effective July 1, 2008, any transfer required from the boardunder subsection 2 of section 345.045.
